Trade Card, Henry E. Gallaher, Shoes

A photograph of what appears to be a desegregated class. An inscription on the back identifies the class as the "1st grade of Miss Lidie Slack". The photograph was taken by A.P. Beecher who had a studio at 315 Market St in Wilmington. There is no date on the image, but it most likely would have been taken between the 1870s, when Beecher first began his studio in Wilmington, and 1911, when Beecher retired.
