Description
A letter from Edith M. Boffin, a Milford, DE, native and homeopathic doctor who received her degree from Boston University in 1901. After contracting tuberculosis, Boffin searched for a sanatorium, and composed this letter to Mary Burchenal, a Wilmington social worker. Boffin sadly would die of the disease only a few months after she wrote this letter. She likely made it to the Maryland State Sanatorium in Frederick County, which she mentions here.
