Description
A letter to Agnes Child Cremer and Harry Richardson Child, from Agnes's cousin Ellwood Sharpless Garrett (the son of Howard Garrett--not to be confused with Agnes's grandfather Ellwood). The letter, dated shortly after the death of Agnes's mother Emily, includes Ellwood's condolences as well as news of another death: that of their cousin Anne Garrett Bradford (daughter of Eli Garrett). Ellwood attaches a clipping (presumably from a Wilmington newspaper) of Bradford's obituary, and remarks that "Aunt Katie Masters" (Ellwood's daughter Catharine) "is now the last of a family of eight children."
